They do in a way. Llamas are high altitude animals and are better adapted to live there. If moved to low altitudes, especially hot climates, they won't live as long. I think a better way to say it is llamas lime normal life spans at high altitudes and won't live as long if moved.

Yeah.They can escape predators easier cause they are addapted to living up there like mountain goats & etc.
