Since you are active, you probably need to go with tampons. You don't need the sport tampons but some people think they work better. If I were you, I would go with tampons!

If u feel comfortable wearing tampons then go for it! give it a go.
Otherwise, try getting the pads that are more absorbant, for a heavier flow. But dont get carried away, thats where i went wrong after i was always worried my pad would seep through. You still have to make sure it fits properly, and that might mean getting a lighter, more fitting pad.

I used to have really bad periods like that, and I would wear a tampon and a pad just for security. If you are having that much problems at an early age, please get your mom to take you to a doctor. There are ways to help, and there is no reason to be miserable for years. Good luck.

If you are active and bleed a lot, you need to consider trashing the pads and start using tampons.

Yes, try tampons! If you use them correctly, you can't even feel them. Just make sure you change them often.
Pads always made me feel so unclean, like I was wearing a diaper or something. I switched to tampons and never went back.

Hm... Try the tampons, if you dont like them, continue to use heavy duty pads by always. Tampons actually hurt me when I tried them.

Go with super-absorbent tampons and a light-days pantiliner in case of leaks. Better safe than embarrased.
