My 12 year old Christmas List

MP3 Player SandDisk e250gb cheaper and most comparable to IPOD. These are more durable than IPODS and the screens scratch less. I got mine at amazon.com for 99.00, but they have been on sell this week for 110.00 at buy.com.

electronic drumsticks 15.99 special at the discovery shop

cell phone (but I am not getting it.) When I need him to have one because he is out of my sight for that long than he will but until then there is no need other than he wants to have one. I am hoping the MP3 player will quelch the yearning.

Kids are really starting to become clothes feinds at this age. If clothes are what he wants I would reccomend a hoodie from Pac Sun or Buckle they are popular clothes stores for kids. I am only getting a hoodie and then sticking a gift card inside it. I figure he will be able to purchase twice as much after the holiday.

Nintendo DS or PSP sony playstation hanheld. I got the DS much less expensive and he already had a playstation. The games will run you between 15-45 and the system itself will most likely run you 99.00.

Finally the hit of the family around here with my hubby and kid is

Guitar hero II you play guitar with the guitar and it has songs like you are playing a concert. I am making it a family gift. Almost all the boys in my family want this.

Hope this helps.
Good Luck.

The best present in the world is something that would add to this person's happiness...but they don't know they need it.

One year while living in a cold climate, I just had a jacket. Being busy that winter. I never thought to replace my jacket with a warmer coat to make my life a little easier. My father saw this and gave me a nice, warm coat. I didn't realize I needed this present. I still remember that coat...30 years later.

The best presents are given by those who know us the best. Get to know the 12 year old better. Your present will come from that understanding and you will both gain from it.

A pair of the coolest running shoes money can buy. It may seem a bit frivilous and unnecessary, but when his eyes light up on Christmas Day you'll smile. High end shoes always seem out of the question for most kids. Having a cool pair of shoes will make him feel good and maybe carry his head a bit higher when he goes back to school.

An MP3 player - provided they have internet access to download stuff. You can also buy the extra memory card so that it hold a lot more songs. Course, an Ipod would be the absolute BEST gift, but they're a LOT more expensive.

Books, art supplies, instruments, music lessons, dance lessons, etc. Build imagination, creativity, and self-esteem. We need to get kids off video games!

I know when I was 12 I would have LOVED to take dance lessons. A boy might be more into music lessons. Or perhaps even models. You know, like model air planes and such. Go for something where the kid can express herself/himself.

Either make her a card, or make her a decorated candy box. Neither cost a lot of money and both can be nice gifts, especially in your stage of the relationship. If you need help with card ideas, check out the link below.
