What "Kate J" was talking about is called a kielbasa (pronounced like the meat food). My favorite percussion instrument is definitely the marimba. It's kind of like a xylophone but bigger. It is the mallet percussion instrument with the most octaves. I love the drum line and the pit too, but those are sections not instruments.

um lets see Piano yes it is too a percussion because it involves a hammer hitting down to make a note. A harpsichord on the other hand is considerd at string instrument because the device plucks the strings upward instead of banging down on them

the marching snare drum is favorite i want to play it next year in my high school's band it gets a nice sound when you hit a gawk!
