Well by stopping birth control and restarting it can mess up your hormones. They will get all out of sorts. So yes you might miss a period, get a late period or whatever the case may be. Also posible that you are pregnant. (though does not sound to be) If you feel very unsure, go to the Dr. and have blood work done to double check. Wish you the best!

I don't have an answer to your question but I was also on birth control (pill) and stopped taking the pill and I got my period the first month but for the last two months I haven't had a period. I have taken plenty pregnancy test and they all come back negative. I don't feel pregnant I know what pregnant feels like cause I have a baby. I'm wondering if after getting off the pill your body takes some time to get back to normal.

Not taking those pills will jack your period up something fierce. I took birth control pill for 9 years and even missing 1 day had an affect.

If your tests is negative, I would believe it. they are very accurate. i should know, I took 5 (all positive but that was a good thing!)

I think when you stop taking the pill, it can take a while for you're periods to become regular again; something to do with the increased/decreased amount of estrogen in your body. The best advice i can give you is to book an appointment at your local family planning clinic, or even better go and see your doctor. He/she will be able to tell you exactly whats going on. Hope this helps.

Taking birth control messes with your whole cycle. It messes with your hormones throwing your cycle off. I stopped taking mine for a week and started taking them again a week later. I didn't get my period for a whole month. Look on line for the manufacture of you pills for most FAQ. The site will most likely have all the questions you are looking for.

Any hormone changes can cause your period not to come. Just relax and call the doctor. You may need a different kind of pill.

dont worry about your period time. that doesnt mean a thing.i know of healthy people who have missed their period for up to 3 months. and then suddenly started their period in a normal fashion.
but i woul never take any birth control pills ever!! it can hurt and even delay a natural birth.

You could be pregnant. Take another test just to be sure... but make sure you've waited at least one week since the last test. It still may not be 100% accurate (if it's negative) but if it comes up positive then you know you're pregnant.
