Shouldn't this category be moved somewhere else?

P.C. Science, like everything else is a human construct. "True believers" of the paranormal would squawk if it were not there. That is to say, we feed them cake. Its just easier. All that is required is that "some" attempt to pretend that the measurements are obtained in a "scientific" way (biases eliminated, etc) and that results are "peer" reviewed - thats the deal. Proof is evidence sufficient to convince. And if you're already convinced (or heavily biased in that direction) then almost ANY evidence is enough to "prove" whatever. So, no number of demonstrations of the flaws in the execution of the measurements will ever be enough to convince those who believe. You can't prove a negative, so this type of fringe stuff will always be with us. AND instituting some system to prevent discordant or revolutionary views would be a terrible thing for science. We WANT the quacks; some of them may be right! Nothing wrong with challenging the status quo, in fact its downright healthy. As for it being a science, well read some of the (mostly NON peer reviewed) stuff by Randy (sp?). There probably are as many Nobel Prize winners who believe in this stuff (AND have actually looked into it) as there are who believe in Alien abductions (and have looked into them). "Consistency", said Twain, "is the bug-a-boo of small minds".

Consciousness is real but nonphyslcal.
Consciousness is connected to physical reality .
================
Our computer-brain works on a dualistic basis.
In a usual daily life all we do is done logically,
under an influence of our feelings.
We have usually power.
On the other hand, in a rparanormal practice
we learn to perceive and to operate:
1) Without the participation of the sense organs.
2) Without the participation of the logic mental processes.
When these conditions will be created, then
we will acquire new forces, new abilities.
