Hate is a strong word;it's not to be taken lightly. Do you feel such strong dislike and apathy toward someone that it could be classified as 'hate'? Do you ever seriously wish bad upon anyone? If so, Whom?

a week ago i would said yes i do hate so and so and as this person was hospitalized i was thinking like so what who cares and we would be better off without him. he has caused my family so much grief. that was a week ago.
since then is spoke to a friend who made me see differently, he said unless i can forgive how can i expect to be forgiven by god when i want to get into heaven. he said forgive but you dont have to forget or put yourself back into the situation that upsets you.
since hearing those words, i see things in a different way and im learning to forgive as hard as it is. now the hate i once felt i dont feel anymore. like you said its such a strong word.

No, I don't hate anyone. Now to answer more acurately...I think there are times that I would like to hate someone (in particular my ex-husband), but that would do no good and only cause distruction within myself. I can honestly say that I have hated some things that people have done. So although I do not hate the person...I do hate their actions. It is not easy to keep hate out sometimes, but I truly believe it is worth the work.

Hate is a strong word indeed.
I think that if you hate someone, it means that you will never talk to them again and wish to never have any type of interaction with them at all forever.
I like "strongly dislike" a lot more.

You are right, it is a really strong word. I can dislike people, but i rarley hate someone. The only people i hate are the ones who have done really bad to me. My step mom who broke my family up because of a affair and my exfriend who attacked me

My Mother. After 4 decades I found that complete indifference is better than hate, hate indicates that love had to exist somewhere. Indifference is a void, and I don't lose sleep over it anymore.

Yes, I hate someone, but I don't wish bad things to her all the time, she acts like my best friend then I heard she saying stuff about me, I even named my new pet chicken with her name!!! well I think everybody holds a hating thing inside, I hate those who are very mean to me and I can't forget, but I never turned it to revenge.

Yes. There's this guy that I was really really friendly with. I thought we were getting along well, except that all he did was insult other people, and insult me. In the beginning, it was okay, but his personality changed (or i changed) and I started getting irritated. I stopped talking to him, and just stopped interacting with him. Since I wunt talk to him, he goes and like drools over my bff which makes me really really angry. And then his voice always goes an octave higher when he sings (he already has a high pitched voice) and it makes me like so agitated, angry. (well, nobody likes it when he sings, and tells him to shut up whenever he starts to sing). More than that, I hate him because he is a hypocrit. He always says stuff like "Omg, u look so disgusting" or "eww, what is that" like insulting people, when he's even more lower, and that just makes me so angry. And then he ALWAYS ALWAYS talks about the MEANEST things behind someone's back, and then acts all nice to them when he sees them. He has a high pitched hehehehehe laugh which makes me so pissed. I just hate him for who he is, and I can't help it. And he's the type that kisses up to the popular people. And then when he's around like, people he thinks of as timid, he bosses them around and like insults them, but when he's near the "popular people" as he calls them or a teacher, he acts all shy and quiet. He's stupid and he gets bad marks. And whenever someone insults another person, he tells the person about it. One time, this girl was like talking about how my violin playing sucked, and then he came up to me and said, "hey, julia said that ure violin playing sucked, and that she didn't even knoe how u got into the string group. And she said that I played even better than you." And he doesnt care about other people's feelings. He's selfish and all he does is lie. He's the person that I HATE THE MOST. Whenever I see him, I feel repulsed and disgusted, and I hate being near him. it feels so strong, that the word hate doesnt seem to cover it.

I hate this kid that was in my class last year..his name was Ti.i cant stand him!i hope he has a slow painful death..there i hate him he always took my pencils books he punched me in the face one time then i hit him back w/ a basketball and he started 2 cry!i was so happy!im glad that i went 2 high scool cuz now i dont c him cuz he failed..lol

i used to be best friends with this girl.but then i found out shes been backbiting about me.now i hate her with every part of my body.
her bad points=shes a damn racist
she acts like shes the richest[but shes not]
she knows shes very pretty and she acts like miss universe
she knows all boys glance at her,so she acts like shes the beauty queen
she loves to compete with me in grades,outfits,knowledge etc.
she is popular in beauty but way unpopular in people due to her character.
she is a totally dumb fool[ u know.beauty but no brains]
she acts nice with people but backbites about them
she also smiles so sweetly in frony of grown ups and talks so shyly in a sweet voice that they fall in luv with her,they never know that shes a totally different person inside
even my mom fell for her and she was like"now,why dont u be like her"to me
that girl destroyed my life[my mom keeps comparing me to her]
she acts as if her family is the most perfect one.
i hate her, i hate her,! i hate her!i really hope she has a terrible life.i wish she suffers all her life.

no actually i dont absolutely hate anyone. sure i strongly dislike a few select people but not enough to classify as hate. i dont think id want something bad to happen to anyone that i know.
