everyone is outraged. it is horrible. and thanks for bringing it to the attention of possible millions of readers in these columns. now, the real question -- and it is like a boomerang -- what can we do about it? in deeds and not only in words, that is the real question. if you are asking -- our "yahoo answerer" and "asker" community -- someone good at creating a web page should take the initiative to create a web page -- circulate it around for signatures and consent and planting the answers for action in front of the united nations (the new president replacing kofi annan) that is a worthwhile suggestion made for "children" who can not speak for themselves.
hope someone takes the initiative.

This is why they should open up their doors and allow Americans and people from other countries in to adopt these unwanted children. It's the fault of the goverment. If they could just drop the girls off and have someonelse take care of them a lot less moms would do this.

It's the worst possible creation of creating a human being and at the same time being totally capable of murdering your own child.....and feel acceptable by your enviroment for doing that. There is no words to describe a human nature...but the worst posible cases of suffer or torture or killing doesn't come from animals. It just make you wonder...what is there left...

yea i think its bs, its not the babies faults that no on there wants a lil girl.. they want all boys!!! china was having the same problem because there was a law there that they could only have 1or 2 (icant really remember) kids and the boys carry on the family name and could work.. but they finally came to their senses that in all reality basically there wasnt gonna be enough girls to pair up with the boys, so they extended the law to 1 more child.

No more outraged than I am about the MILLIONS of unborn babies killed every year in America. What's the difference??

Why not focus on issues closer to home?

It is terrible. How can parents do this to their babies?

Sadly, it happens in America, also. It's call "a woman's choice" and it is legal to murder their babes before they ever have a chance at life. How sick is that?

yes, it's sad, but I'm more worried about the children who are murdered and abused in the united states.
