I wod not get a second hand bed - under any circumstance's because you don't know wot the previous owner was like - you could end up with bed bugs and they took over your home before you can even say good nite
SAVE UP and BUY a CHEAP one! trust me
HOWEVER IF YOU ARE DESPERATE AND DON'T CARE GO ON TO GUMTREE AND GO TO FREE STUFF SOME PPL ARE GIVING AWAY OLD FURNITURE ON THERE ALL THE TIME

You can post wanted ads on either. Only problem is, you will need to get a man with a van. Look for IKEA beds, as they collapse, and then you could do it by car or walking if it's not too far.

if you have a local town hall they do charities called helping hand....go see them....they take unwanted furniture an give it to people who need it....do you have a helping hand near you? or if your on benefits try and get a crisis loan so you can get a bed...they will give you money for bedding too
