60's, seems to be a more peaceful era.

the 1920's - everybody now a days says the 1960's but come on - the 20's were the party years. Everybody was glamorous, dressed nicely, and looked great. Clubs and restaurants were happening, drinks were flowing (even during prohibition). There was still some mystery left in the world, today you can find out anything/see the world from your bedroom computer.

People had respect, even criminals. Mobsters back then knew that innocents were off-limits. Now a days, 6 year old kids who are sitting on their front porch are collateral damage during drive-bys.

The war's we fought in had real purposes to fight for.

Sometimes I really feel like I should have lived in the 20's-40's.

Also, I'd give anything to see Charlie Chaplin's films on the big screen. Be able to see the dawn of the talkie pictures in Hollywood, etc.

In the 1950s-1960s...it seems like a cool period for a teen to grow up in. Parents wouldn't have to be so concerned about all the violence out there and kids could just go out and have a good time and be safe. There was no need for cell phones.

The 1940's-1950's because it was a time of great change. It was also the golden age for Hollywood, music, and celebrities. No stars today can really compare with Gregory Peck, Marlon Brando, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Bettie Page, Dorothy Dandrige, Lena Horne, Louis Armstrong, and countless others who helped shape the industry today.

I would like to go back to the time before my mom died and straighten my life around so I could have enjoyed her time with me instead of causing her so much grief.
