Well, to really be on the safe side you should use another method of protection - condom for instance. If she missed a pill, she should take it as soon as she remembers and then take the next one whenever she was supposed to take it. If it's only one day she missed- chances are she will not get pregnant, but any more than that and she might. At any rate, use back up method- trust me, I am 30 years old with no babies and never been pregnant- b/c I am always extra careful. :-)

If she misses one day, she should take both pills the next day. That's all right, although her stomach may be a little upset when she takes them (not much, though!). If she misses more than one day, then you guys may need a back-up method, depending on what brand of pill she uses.
If she misses a day and doesn't take 2 the next day, then use back up until the next cycle begins, or call your pharmacist, who can look up the pill brand and give more specific info. Don't risk it!

If she is taking a blend estrogen/progestin contraceptive, she must have both began taking them on the first day of her era or the Sunday after she began her era. both way, by using 3 weeks later, she is secure to the completed quantity of the pills. For destiny reference... if she misses a million pill she will take it anytime as a lot because the time for the subsequent dose. If she forgets till that element, she ought to take both pills at the same time, then fall back into her regularly taking place time table. Backup birth control should not be needed with actually a million neglected dose as long as she catches back up on her time table. If she misses 2 pills in a row, she ought to take 2 pills for 2 days, then fall back into her regularly taking place time table. With 2 neglected doses, you ought to apply backup birth control for a minimum of seven days. If she misses 3 or more desirable pills, she ought to toss that p.c.. and restart with her next cycle, and easily use back up protection. although, if the contraceptive she is on is the progestin actually type, non of the above applies... she ought to take it on the exact same time on a daily basis. If she misses that element by using even 2 or 3 hours, then backup protection is mandatory for the subsequent seventy 2 hours!!! be careful!!! So first ingredient... locate out what type she is on!

It's not going to hurt her if that's what you mean...could she get pregnant? Possibly. Just don't "do anything" until a week after she's been back on again. She may start her period from missing that one day anyway.

Might be for you. Especially if you don't want children right now. You might want to skip any intimacy for the day. Some women don't have problems with skipping a day while others do end up pregnant. Your girlfriend might be one of us who doesn't have a problem skipping a day but, then again, she might be the type to come up pregnant. Do you want to risk it??

No, she can get pregnant if she misses just one day. Go with a condom until her next period.
