how do i build my own mp3 player using one of my old ones that i don't really like?

i dont want to buy a new one because i don't want to waste my money. If you post a tip to tell me how to build an mp3 player, please be sure about your answer because i don't want to ruin an mp3 player

Well unless you have a really hi tech shop. Using an old on? Well I have not ripped into one But these things are so small they ar a single chip, mainboard (if any) the display, chip, and any switches are all for sure surface mount, so you can forget changing any of that . you only option is to remake the case.
