kidney and bladder stent removal?

I would like to know what it is like to have a stent in a female removed. What is the proceedure and is it painful? Thanks a bunch.

Not painful, maybe uncomfortable. Takes seconds. They just find the string and pull it out. Some urologists let you remove your own stent, depending on what procedure has been done.
