Do you care about the true meaning of this holy season or it's just about presents and treats for you?

Christmas for me is about being with my friends and family. The true meaning of the season and the message is to love one another and promote peace on Earth. I try to live that way all the time in my own little corner of the world. So for me, Christmas is a celebration of living in harmony with one another.

Presents and treats are not much of a factor. I don't make very much money so my kids will get one or two gifts, nothing expensive. It's a lot easier to focus on the real meaning of Christmas when you're not worried about shopping and paying the bills later.

Jesus is the reason for my life not just this "the reason for the season."

I try to live by Jesus' commandments and I make sure that my children understand the true meaning of Christmas.

Being an American and having grown up with the typical American Christmas, I enjoy those aspects as well. The family togetherness, the cartoons, the cookies, the shopping for gifts for those I love, etc. I do it all with Jesus in my heart. If I err in some of it--by having a pagan Christmas tree, I know that Jesus loves me and that God knows that in my heart all I am trying to do is honor him---the great I AM.

God Bless and Merry Christmas.

To me, Christmas is a Holy season, celebrating Jesus' birth.

I care about both, I'm not going to say that Christmas is strictly about Jesus' birth to me because it's more than that. I go to church on Christmas day and all but I also enjoy giving and recieving gifts, putting up Christmas lights and eating Christmas-y food and all that.

I'm not Christian and am skeptical about the whole "Baby Jesus" thing, but I do like the lights and snacks and all the time off I get. I also like giving people I love things they will enjoy.

i care about the reason. thats the way i was broughtup. when i was growing up there were too many of us for mom and dad to buy gifts for. they couldnt afford it. so we were,nt used to fancy things we had a tree dad brought home and a cross on top of the tree. that was all i wanted was that cross on top of the tree.
