You mean ripped dvd's? Yes it will, you will have to run the dvd through a program to put it in the right format, just likme an IPOD. I think the Zune might be a good deal.

you'll adore the zune i do no longer have one, yet my chum does, and that i'm continuously asking them to borrow it :] It holds numerous songs [7,500] i do not understand a thanks to receive the video's i imagine my chum only were given them off this technique that you get with the zune, yet im no longer constructive I deffinatly recomment the zune compared to each thing else :]

It plays mp3s, avi, wmp, wmfs. Since it's smaller than a dvd disk, common sense should tell you that it won't play dvds ;-)
