I think SMACK-DOWN should be banned because children can not identify that it's fake and a just a performance being acted out. After watching children then try the moves out on siblings and friends there was an occasion where this young boy about 10 ended up killing his younger sister who was just a toddler coping some of the moves he had just seen on the box.

BAN IT

The child probably just needed a 'trigger' ......it may have occurred anyway .

Just how much info on the child's personal situation are we aware of / or indeed should we have any right to the childs confidential history - by law we protect childrens rights - the news media may just sensationalise and provoke outrage ie it may have been a vicious looking action figure with a weapon that made him/her do it ----ban Action Man NOW !----- so it may all start getting a bit silly - and on it goes..

So if the child in question has shown any talent - buy them lycra and exploit them in the media - it may show a healthy profit for the improper parent but the media will love it and the outrage it will provoke in ourselves.

OOOOPS - Seriously though there must be some parental type policeing of any 'entertainment' that Young children may be exposed to , the older they get we start running into censorship issues and the dangers of under-exposing them to the daily C.R.A.P which adults can be exposed to and hence not preparing them for this lovely modern world we live in ! .
So the more I think about it - you can allways turn off the tv/media etc........... but are not we as parents responsible for the access to the nastier side of life through the media and use responsible judgement and the personal knowledge of our children to establish what is right for them on an individual basis ?

Sorry - night shift rambling

So what is your excuse for the two young boys who stoned poor 3 year old James Bulger to death, in the 1990's?

Since stoning was in the bible they obviously copied that - let's ban the bible.

Prostitution featured in the bible. Young girls today are obviously copying that - again, let's ban the bible.

You only want to blame a TV programme because you do not want to consider the alternative of laying all the blame with a child. How could such a sweet angelic little boy do something so evil - blame TV.

If you want to ban the WWE because kids don't realise its fake - then ban The Bill, ER, Coronation Street, Eastenders and all those other fake TV shows.

Nobody cried out about the harm that will done to impressionable children watching Richard Hillman bash Emily Bishop's and Maxine Peacock's brains in in Coronation Street.

Nobody cried out about the harm that will done to impressionable children watching young gang members killing each other in ER.

Where were all the goody-goody liberal nanny-state types then? I'll tell you: sat in front of the telly watching Coronation Street and ER!

first off let me say i love the wwe . huge wwe fan.
In the beginning of every show there is a thing that comes up that says these are professional sports people Do Not Try This at home.
SO my question is when all these kids are doing this is where are there parents?
If a child would read this and not try this at home than come on no child would get hurt.
When all the kids copied jackass a while back ago no one made a huge deal out of it like they are smack down.
Please children listen to the wwe stars do not try this at home

I'd love to know what you're all talking about. I've never heard of this programme. Is it on Sky? I've only got Freeview.
