Christmas is about stopping and thinking of others. Not only should we be thinking about the soldiers who are hoping to live through the next moment, but children with cancer, people living on the streets, anyone who currently has no hope in tomorrow. I hope everyone keeps the soldiers in their hearts not only at Christmas but ALL year. All lives can be taken in a single moment that is what makes life as precious as it is. Enjoy your holiday! I know my cousin in Iraq would want you too.

It's true that many people don't realize how big the sacrifice is that military families make during times of war and and also in times of peace. The separation, the danger, the lack of personal freedom and security that can all be a part of being in the service. Last Christmas our daughter and son-in-law were both in Iraq on a 6 month tour of duty. Not a day, or even an hour passes that I don't think of the soldiers in Iraq, and of their families during this time of increasing danger.

Maybe George W. Bush should pray for them. It is obvious that he really doesn't care about those troops. Getting more money for oil for Christmas is far more important than the lives of our troops or the innocent civilians of Iraq. Yes I will pray for those troops and for the innocent Iraqi lives that have been taken in this ridiculous war. Sorry about standing on the soap box.

Nobody told the soldiers to join the army now did they. I think we should think about the poor Afghan's and Iraqi people whose lives and beautiful countries are being destroyed by soldiers who have no right to be there.
I pray for the all people especially my in laws who are Afghans.

isn't that kind of a generalization? I've spent almost everyday trying to find things for our soldiers to send, and if you look on the internet, there's many people out there doing things for the soldiers
