This and that and half or this and that is what percent of this and that?

7 answers

this= x
that= y
half= .5

x + y + .5(x + y)

if x=2 and y=4, plug them into the equation:

2 + 4 + .5(2 +4)
6 + 3
9

9 represents this and that and half of this and that

then, find this and that:

2 + 4
6

so,

this and that and half of this and that=9
this and that= 6
9/6 = 3/2, which equals 150%
