I bought a SG and want to check if it is priced right
i bought it for 3,000 is this a rip?

It could very well be. I saw this question and decided to look through one of my musiciansfriend magazines. Most list prices are close to 1000, and are sold from the site between 500 to 1200. Now there is one a Custom Shop SG Standard Reissure VOS that lists at 4539.00 and is sold from the site at 2999.99. There is also an SG Supreme thatlists at 3018.00 and sells from there at 1999.99.
So unless you have one of those two, or something else that isnt mentioned, based on the magazine it could very well be. But it all depends on where you got it, and year and make, if its custom or anything also.

Depends on the make & model....I have a standard SG and it cost me a $1000! If it's a vintage one, the price can & will be higher depending on the condition & the year!!

what make model and year? otherwise, the price could range from 800 to 8000.
