The year Xanadu came out, I had a pink and purple plaid pantsuit that I wore to see the movie. It was glorious. I wore it with these huge clunky clogs with leather butterflies on them.

Too short tan corderoy bellbottoms, wide belt with huge buckle, tan Frye boots, patterned button up collar shirts, puka shell necklace. Yes it was the 70s. Oh yeah...and Im white and I proudly displayed those Frye boots from just above the ankle down as I did the white boy shuffle...to disco. I would like to thank mankind for having not yet invented the camcorder.

from the late 1960's early 1970's I had a pair of flower power pants, zipper in back. The flower in front - now that I look at the photo's - did not line up right and looks like private parts. Thought it was cool though - wore 'em until they faded - I gotta go - need to rip up those photo's and neg's.

okey..junior high:
Huge plattform shoes...really low waist pants or jeans. Or those pants with skirts to the knees(bleh). And those tops that was just straps on the backs. First off, I was skinny and tall, with no curves. So I looked like a stick with the shoes, the pants didn't help, and the tops where just awfull! I can't believe I ever wore that!

oh god, i LOVE this question! i'm one of those weird people that actually adores the phases she went through. okay, in middle school i was a day-glo neon brights chick. picture this: neon green capris, four chunky ankle bracelets, an entirely glittery orange t-shirt, and a lime green blazer with shoulder pads that i picked up from salvation army. add huge orange mod hoops, about sixty jelly bracelets, and a wild mane of curly brown hair with a '60s-ish psychedelic headband. i thought it was so original and so frugal! hahahahaha, i dunno where half that stuff has gone now......

i had red pre-faded jeans from wal-mart, and a black turtleneck with rhinestones around the neck. plus nice big chunky shoes. and glasses. i was eight, and i thought i looked the ****. i mean those were my favorite pants.
