"In the past our politicians offered us dreams of a better world. Now they promise to protect us from nightmares.

The most frightening of these is the threat of an international terror network. But just as the dreams were not true, neither are these nightmares."

Politics have been about fear for a very long time. Fear the British in America during the revolutionary war here. Fear the Germans during WW2. Fear has driven life for a very long time. Even though it man drive many things it does not mean that it is wrong to fear because sometimes the fear is real and for that we must be dilegent and careful.

Of course. Why do you think the Bush administration invented the conflated term Islamofascist other than to scare us in to giving them so much power? Alot of people no longer think Bush has much credibility. Bush IS the nightmare.

NO> NO> NO> NO!!!!

When are people going to understand that we are being attacked. There are tons of people who will wipe us out if we don't keep them at bay.

Am I in fear? Only of people like you who don't understand what is going on. We could have already put these people in their place if we weren't so civilized and empathetic with our enemy; and held back by liberals. Your kind may really keep us living in fear.
