When you begin to do scientific research you have to first to select a problem or ask a question on a particular branch of science which is familiar to you or in which you have acquired some knowledge.
Then you have to do some experiment to find out whether what you presumed would be correct or not. You have to do a series of experiments and collect data. The data have to be analysed mathematically or statistically to give you some values. They will indicate whether what you presumed at the beginning was right or wrong.
Then you cite the examples of others who have worked in this field and what they think of similar problems on which they worked. Describe and discuss your result and then finally crystallise your investigation to tell the world what exactly you found out by this scientific research.
