I've been diagnosed with cancer and hep c. I was on chemical chemothearpy for 3 1/2 years. I spent about 75% of my time on my back - the side effects and associated pain is excruciating. The other 25% of the time I was sleeping or seeing a doctor. I only left the house to try and walk around the block. Walking is very tough when you're so anemic and in pain. Now I have to go through it again for another 11 months - my hep c relapsed. 1 out of 100 people commit suicide on this treatment - it's that bad.

I do know this - I certainly would try if I had a computer (with internet), music, and television. Take away the people that annoy and anger me, and take away the frustrations of finances, I'm there. Would I last? I don't know, but I can never answer the 'what would you do' scenarios. Sorry I couldn't directly answer your question.
Oh, and I was wondering, if I had my dog would I still be considered alone? With her my possibility of success increases. She's my favorite thing in the world!

EEEEEEEEEEW you've got to be freakin' kidding me! That would be un-human torture for me. I could not last a DAY without talking to someone! HEAVEN FORBID A YEAR! I am a people person and I think all the other people people can relate when I say, YEA RIGHT!

i cant sit at home alone for 5 minutes,a year would be insane.no contact with other people is even worse my cellphone bill stays payed i must communicate with others.i would go crazy with the thought of having to sit alone at home ands have no contact for a year.

I'd probably committ suicide.
Without human interaction, most people are nothing. Other people's hugs, smiles, and kisses keep us going through the day.
I would get so freakin' bored after the first day.
So, no, I could not.

lol.. no seriously.... I could easily do that as long as it last absloutely only one year...no more.....I'll just work out and get an even hotter body, sleep, write in my very boring journal, probably create a one person game..... I can make anything fun so it should be no problem!

I would rather enjoy that, if I had no bills to pay. I would not have to go to work.I would not have to spend my time doing things I dont want to do .Being with people I dont want to be with and thinking about stuff I dont want to think about. That would be most execellent. Going for walks sounds o.k. to me. It's a great way to clear ones head. I guess I can't e-mail anyone either?
