STOREY is an architectural term denoting the portion of a building included between the surface of any floor and the surface of floor next above it, or if there be no floor above it then the space between any floor and ceiling next above it. not the STORY that you read in a book. you STUPID A S S!!!

Tank linings for water tanks are a terrible solution. You woul dbe better off buying a plastic tank...however if linings are the only way you want to go then you will need want an HDPE liner system that has the seams heat welded. Re-think the idea of liners they dont work well for big tanks. First choice is concrete bu that is too heavy for storing on top of a building, second would be steel tanks, third I guess would be plastic tanks (again polyethylene - crosslinked or linear polymer will be fine) - remember though that for plastic tanks you need to have some way to replace them so you'll need a big opening to get the tank through in about 15 years.

If you do use a liner system make sure that it has an NSF 60 rating as safe for contact with drinking water. Check you state department of Health for other restrictions and there may also be an AWWA (American Water Works Association) standard for liner systems that migh be of some assistance to you.
