Worthless? No... An annoyance? Sometimes. Important to have cognition of? Yes. Semantics is part of language and logic. And because it manifests via speech, it is as well a form of architecture, which is to say, it has form and therefore serves a considerable function. To that end, it must possess and demonstrate clarity in order for the meanings (forms) to stand erect and upright by themselves, and must serve the purpose it was meant to import (function). The right or improper semantics can create a universe or wipe one out... Semantics can be just that important.

Bush started the hunt for bin Laden "Dead or alive," remember? You libtards reminded us constantly. Bush was not concerned becuase he knew we were closing in on bin Laden, and it was only a matter of time before we got him. Bush was not concerned if he would be the president or not by then. All he cared was, he knew it would happen sooner or later. Why are you so hyped up about who happened to be the president? Bush started it, and it got done. Just like he knew it would.

I don't know, but that word is fun. In fact, if you were to watch last year's season finale of House, you'd know what I meant ;)
