Depends on what you concider alive lol. you could take your brain and implant it into a robot or something like that... You could find a way to control your bodys cells death cycles and stop them from die'n without turning into cancer cells... But honestly every second your alive you change and this in itself is a form of death in a sense. So inorder to keep yourself alive without going through some form of death process you would have to break some rules of the universe or something. I find it easyest to just accept that I am a part of the universe and will always be a part of it in some way shape or form. Am I lie'n to myself when I say that maybe but maybe not who really knows for sure about anything. Existance is about the only thing I can argue with 100% belief in the rest I have some doubts about probably.

Well, one of the main reasons we "age" is because every cell cycle our telomeres shorten. Over time, the telomeres aren't able to protect our genes anymore, so the genes are destroyed, and therefore cannot carry out the function they need to. One way to treat this is with Telomerase, which prevents the destruction of telomeres, but it has been proven to cause uncontrollable tumors and cancer so I wouldn't recommend that. Why would you want to live for 1,000 years anyway? What comes after this life is so much better than life here on Earth!

well speaking frankly the average age of a man is around 80.but if u want to keep yourself alive i mean to keep your name alive you have to some great deeds for the humanity so that the future generations know that such a man walked on this earth once upon a time.we remember gandhi, akbar, birbal, shah jahan and many more...why?? because of their great deeds they have died long ago but there names remain encrypted in our brains because of their work.so dude get up if u want to keep your name alive do something worthful so that the future generations would remember youbecause body degenerates but fame never dies.

Even if you had all of the perfect environmental factors, you wouldn't be able to live past ~120, because your cells stop dividing once their telomeres become too short. Therefore, your body tissue would stop being replaced and you would die.
