They are not pronounced the same; conscious is pronounced "conchus" and conscience is pronounced "conchench".
If you are conscious you are awake and aware of yourself, actions and things going on around you. Unconscious you are asleep, knocked out or in a coma; unaware of anything around you.
Conscience is in your mind and directs your thoughts between right and wrong, good and bad; your conscience is the inner side of you as a person. Your directed thoughts and decisions.

I am conscious that I am trying to help you and my conscience tells me that it is the right thing to do because you do not understand these words.

Hope this helps.

Your conscience is the thing that makes you think about the difference between right and wrong - a moral thing. Conscious refers to whether you are awake or not (conscious v. unconsious).

The pronunciation is close, but conscience does have the slight "n" sound in it.

conscious is when you are aware or awake
"i was conscious of the man at the counter..."
"i was conscious after i hit my head but in a lot of pain."

conscience is the little voice inside you that tells you right from wrong.
"my conscience was telling me not to do it."

they are also not pronounced the same. conscience has an n as the second to last sound, conscious does not

the only difference I could imagine is that conscious is dealing more with one having any brain activity, whereas conscience may be the examining of oneself, or a more full awareness of one's surroundings. I make this assumption from the word conscienscious.
