Because someone in the entourage who is legal age purchases the drinks and the group ends up dumping a ton of money in the club.... so the club owner looks the other way. The underage celebrity drinker is NEVER photographed with a drink, so the cops are never called.
Money makes the world go 'round..... it's sad......

Most celebs get to drink underage because it it GREAT business for a bar/club/restaraunt to have paparazzi outside and to get the name of thier establishement mentioned in US Weekly and People. Morals and common sense go out the window when your priority is making a dollar. Drew Barrymore was being served drinks at clubs at age ten. People will do anything for money.

I totally agree with that...it is published that she is attending AA meetings and she is constantly photographed drinking and partying...but when people like her go to a club (even though it's COMPLETELY illegal) it gets "the little people" to go as well which means more money. Which is in the end all anyone cares about! Totally wrong and twisted, I know, but it's the truth.

Tradition, our society is partially based on running with other people's problems but the people who follow them do nothing as to the actions they see. The drinker is at fault, and is int eh wrong, but the law is at fault because these events keep reoccurring and nothing gets done, its sad but that's how they're running. There is no easy solution to this, and it will keep happening for others to thrive. They get away with it because they're 'famous', 'icons', 'looked up to'(in some regards), and people need them to fail but gain nothing, its everyone's fault and there's no other explanation, which is sad.

becuase celebrities get special treatment. we all know it, they knwo it, so they do stuff like that. if they shut places that give them drinks down then they would be unhappy and ***** and get it reopened. they cant shut it down, they would just goto a new place and get drinks. they wont get in trouble with the law, they're celebrities.

THEY HAVE MONEY!!!
take the nicole richie incident, she was drunk/on drugs and ended up on the wrong side of the highway!
they arrested her but she was soon released on bail.
i mean, ok, she was arrested for a total of 2 seconds, but once she gets out, whose to say that she wont do it again???????????
i tell you, money gets these people everything, and it is disgusting.
