start wishing peace and happiness for the person that made you angry. this is contrary to what we think we should do and hard as heck to do at first, but if you develop the habit you'll be happier and have less stress.

When someone angers you and you stew over, they win you see. But if you wish them happiness, or even pray for them , if you are so inclined, you win. You are manging yourself and your anger. they are no longer hacking with your emotions. You are in control.

this doesn't mean you will never lose your temper or that they are right. But when you do lose it, you know how to calm down.

I have even found times to give them a second chance or when calm seen where I may have helped cause the situation or let it go too far. I have then, at times, apologized, other times, I put them and my anger out of my mind and moved on to happier days and greener grass.

This doesn't mean letting people run over you, just movingon when they do.

The minute that you realize your that angry, try going and doing something you've wanted to do for a while, or may be just take a drive. Anything to change your mood. I sometimes even let my mind think horrible thoughts then intentionally laugh about and do something totally opposite. Because I let myselffeel that anger I feel better pretty quickly.

I go online so that it can help take my mind off things.

Either that or, if I'm home alone, I'll throw stuff around and yell.
