One is 399.99. It comes with a hard drive and a wireless controller. The other is 299.99. It comes without a hard drive and has a wired controller. If you purchase the cheaper of the two you will still need a memory card to save your games. Those cost about 34.99. Get the more expensive one. It's worth it.

The pro has wireless controllers and more capabilities and the core has just all you need to play. The pro is $400, and the core $300

other than the obvious ( the price ) the difference is that the pro has a wireless controller instead of a corded controller, it has the hard drive, and it also has the headset. it's a better deal if you compare the prices of the regular x box and the pro. what i mean is this....price the drive, the controller and the headset with the regular one and then price the pro.......you'll see what i mean
