Well America is a good Country & a very good friend of ours so its good to help your friends when they need help
Do you help your friends when they need help even if it puts you in danger I bet you do
Well this is no different & it wasn't America who put us in danger anyway it was the media because the terrorists had never heard of Australia until the media asked a terrorist " what about Australia are you going to attack us"? & the guy laughed & said
something like " haha we have enough problem with the super power without having to worry about Australia haha !"
& that is true
the words are a little different but meaning the same

If you are unsatisfied with the relationship your government maintains with the US, then it is your responsibility to vote for people who will change that relationship.

I am very sorry to hear your anger with the USA. Here in the States we think of Australia in almost exclusively good terms. We feel a bond of kinship with the Australian people, and generally admire the fearless and adventuresome attitude we perceive from Australian citizens. I don't know of a single American who has the smallest negative opinion of Australia.

I am not sure what actions you think of as "running for help" but if you're referring to enlisting your help in the first Gulf war and in the present conflict, our opinion has generally Been that all free people ought to care about denying dictatorships and the attempt to foster friendly and democratic governments.

Are there people in the world who deserve to live in fear of their own leaders

Give us some examples of America running to Australia for help. If that has ever happened, it's news to me.

Well then stop saying yes, then. I'm sure you have a lot to do with that decision anyway. Why don't you just be quiet and get back to the things you know, vegemite, Kangaroos and drag queens
