When people stop buying them. But there are still enough people with smaller TV's to warrant selling them.

Only when they stop making full screen tvs.
But I have a full screen tv, and I still prefer the widescreen dvds... you get to see everything. The sides of the film get cut off on full screen. I don't mind the black bars on the top and bottom.

It won't happen anytime soon, but it will once widescreen tv's become mainstream and affordable enough that most households have them.
