If the devil is real, I believe he's created bit by bit out of human cruelty, selfishness, callousness and bigotry, which can take on a life of its own if not checked or opposed.

depends on your definition of real.....if you consider something real if you can see it, hear it, feel it, etc, then real things are tiny electric impulses in your brain. Satan, aka the devil, exhists whether you believe in religion or not. He's that feeling you get when something insults you, hurts you, etc. He is the absence of good, being defined as anything not wanted.

haha he is real..He aint the big red monster that some people think..HE IS BAD though dont get me wrong..He was The most beautiful angel in heaven until he started to be a butthole..now hes just waiting to be burned for eternity.

I wonder that myself. I know that there does seem to be some adversary that grabs a hold once in awhile and doesn't seem to let go.
