I love to watch Good Eats and it's actually my favorite show on the Food Network. The way Alton Brown explains the methods of cooking and what cookware to use is very helpful for someone like me because I love to cook. I have actually tried some of his recipes and they are very good.

Oh yeah, we both watch it. Alton seems a little odd once in a while but we always learn about food and cooking. It isn't (usually) dull!
I've noticed that when he highlights an ingredient, there is a run on it in the grocery store the next day and I can't find it! This has happened with eggplant and several other items that you wouldn't think would be all that popular. He seems to affect market trends.
I like the addition of his "nephew" but you can keep the "sister".

I love Good Eats. For science nerds like me who like to know why things are the way they are...he gives a very detailed, but entertaining insight to how food and cooking/baking works. Anyone can show you how to make a recipe but Alton shows you why you're doing what you're doing.

I do watch it.. he pretty good of making me understand food much better.. of showing me how to cook things and how things r made.. he alton brown has other shows too... and i watch the other ones too
