Duncan is my father and i wish to find out about him before i try to find him, plz help me search for my long lost father, especially now that the only family i did have was my mother and she has recently passed away from Cancer. I believe he grew up in the Bracknell area and hes about 50 something.

Go to Bracknell and ask people. Find the nearest records office (not sure where that would be) which would have his birth certificate - maybe his death certificate? Without wishing to sound pessimistic, there's actually about a 30% chance he died between age 20 and 50!
The regular people to ask in Bracknell are those who have been there longest. Shop-keepers (may recognise photos of him; or may have say a newspaper order of his on their books and can give you his address!) , garage owners, insurers....it may be a long, long quest but it will be great for both of you!!!!!!
