Oh, everyone has brain cells, I think it's just that fear sets in with people when they think about pregnancy, even when you want a child it can be a scary thing.
Most women, until three months, don't like to tell anyone about a pregnancy, outside their innermost circle. Sometimes, a home pregnancy test does not give a clear answer, only a blood test is 100% accurate.
I've had tests that say, not pregnant when I was and vice versa, and so have many women.
Have some compassion. One day you'll be in the same boat and your thinking will change. These questions are like e-mails you can move on if you don't want to read them.

Well honestly everyone's body is different. Store bought (and even going to a doctor's office) does not always come out positive when they should be. I know people who took tests and said it was negative and they still turned out to be pregnant. People want someone's opinion to see how many other people have had the same case. I think that you should be more thoughtful since you obiviously do not know what it is like to be in that panic stage. Also missing a period does not mean you are pregnant and most signs do not show up until a few weeks later. People have unprotected sex and then their period is late. But that does not mean that they are pregnant. They are just nervous and scared.

I answered a very similar question last week. lol It's fair though that this question gets repeated, when the "Could I be pregnant" question gets repeated at least once a day. lol
I'm seriously getting burnt out on that question. It really seems about the same everywhere. You go to diet and fitness and its the same question there all the time too. Like Miss Repeat said, people don't even look at the previously asked question.

Here here... and to anyone who is thinking about posting such a question, the answer is. Yes. Its possible you could be pregnant, but why would you expect us to be able to diagnose if you don't know and we never met you?

I AGREE!! If I see one more post "My period is late! OMG!! Could I be pregnant!!??"
Um... OMG - YEAH!
Ladies - if you have sex you could be pregnant. Period. Bottom line. Even if you use every form of birth control out there, there are failure rates, and you could get pregnant. It's just a fact of life. Quit stressing out and asking total strangers, just go buy the test and pee on the damn stick!
