No.

Good news is when you're at the North Pole, any direction you head in would be due South

Follow me if you can. There are actually several North Poles, each with their own unique definition:

The most important of them,

The North Magnetic Pole and the The North Geomagnetic Pole

are actually constantly moving, hence anyones attempt to put a land marker down would be an exercise in futility as the reference point eventually would become meaningless.

Yes.

Poland donates 1 Polish Man to live in a little wooden cabin at the North Pole, and they also have a man in a little wooden cabin at the South Pole.

Each Pole does a 1 year stint, and then is replaced by a new Polish volunteer.

The geographic north pole is in the middle of the ocean. There is ice there for just part of the year, the rest is just open water. So to answer your question, no, there is nothing at the north pole.

Not so much a pole as it is a spike sticking out of the ice.

Maybe that's just the south pole?
