Blackmore has a huge chip and wouldn't want to, surely?
Besides, would Turner, Coverdale and Gillan really sing together!?!? That would be VERY interesting!
I love Deep Purple, my all time fav music, I have all their Albums, but I only like a few song of Rainbow and Whitesnake.

I'm 23 and have been a fan of theirs ever since I bought their best-of, age 15. I wouldn't want to see too many cooks spoil the broth, though. I'd rather see a classic line-up - Paice, Gillan, Blackmore, Lord, Glover.

Also, isn't Wrong Man, on the quite recent "Raptures of the Deep" LP, an AWESOME song?

David Coverdale was the best thing about Purple. I'd rather see a classic Whitesnake reunion. The "Live In The Heart Of The City" line-up preferably.

In 1991ish I saw Gillan, Blackmore, Paice, Lord , & Glover in the Brixton Academy, and it was an absolutely brilliant gig even though you could see that Gillan & Blackmore despised each other. The music was brilliant. Highway Star, Black Night, Hush, Speed King........ etc.
So I won't go to another reunion. Might spoil it for me.

I read in a back issue of classic rock i think it was, that both Coverdale & Blackmore have said that under no circumstances would they consider a DP reunion Too much past history..
