I would think an male African-American is more likely to get presidency. Why? Men complain about women. Women complain about women. Women don't stick together--we are still against each other. Once we get over that, I believe the chances of a women becoming president is far greater.

I don't care who is president so long as her/ his foreign policies are friendly to the world. bu$h has destroyed all our world friendships and trust. The entire world hates the US.
Back in the 1960's The whole world loved the US.
We need to let the world alone and not try to take over everything. so maybe we need a woman president or a black president. who can bring a softer approch to the world.Someone who will leave Cuba alone once Fidel Castro is gone.

I would like to think that whichever was the better candidate, but I would have to say a black man would be more likely to become president than a women. I think that's so because a lot of men still, in today's society, do not like having a women in a position of power over them.

america is not prepared for anything. They are naive, foolish, immature and spoiled people. they are likely to do anything. nobody can guess what will be next.
they may elect a woman or a black or an old idiot white man. whatever they do it will be for wrong reasons as they do not know shinola from feces.
I am fed up with the idiot voters in this country. i am ready for a dictator with some brains.

I think that the prejudiced of America would more easily accept a woman to a black person. No that I wouldn't vote black! It's just that if they had to choose, my first guess is woman.

There are a lot more women in the senate then there are black people. So I'd say we are more likely to see a woman president

Sadly, I think women would be more readily accepted. It wouldn't be because of racism (unadulterated kind), but because of the complications of race would cause. Just look at the Michael Steele campaign . . .

If the candidate was a good person, I'd vote for him/her no matter his/her skin color.

It's hard knowing until a viable candidate emerges...maybe we have it in Barack and Hillary. Looking at November's election I think there is a possibility.
