Impersonation? I've had this name since about 3 weeks after I joined... Is someone copying me? I'm confused as to why they'd bother, I'm rarely on here any more... =S

The real problem with USA and UK is that under the guise of the big fiction "democracy" the politicians have stifled debate and protest. "You voted for us in a democratic election"
This is the biggest con trick in the history of the world because the "democratic Majority" is always less than 1/3 of the general population. In other words the elected government is a minority government. What we want to be truly democratic is a process of dissolving any government that we feel is not generally representative.

Giving up is a personal choice. My take on this is when I look back at how naive I was then, I am glad the world didn't do everything my way. Idealism is great stuff, but all to often impractical.
I think the question needs to be very personal. Am I giving up & saying to hell with it? If anything, those in govt & corporate world are more dangerous now than they were then. It takes more than, "Hell, no! We won't go!" That got us out of Vietnam, but obviously we left the job only partly done considering the mess we now face.
And some of us are doing something. If interested, just click my icon & ask away.
2nd take. Pay no attention to stephanie. She is a real PITA. As far as US & UK, we seem to be lumped together here. I sometimes forget whether I am an American or a Brit ;-}

They were the generation that expose the blunders and slip-ups with human errors living in misery in planet of apes.
At that time no one can read what they was trying to tell us on what went wrong in planet of apes.
Unitil living human kind all got caught by our creator with pants down in Iraq expose by their children.
Only then were able to trace the footprints expose with time in planet of apes.

That's weird, all my friends are children of hippies and they're protesting like mad. The rest of us had parents who remained sober, and who weren't caught up in the current of the times.
Like my parents. My dad VOLUNTEERED for Vietnam. He was too old to be part of that generation. So was my mom.
The pension crisis is a result of the astronomical number of Baby Boomers.

I'm not really sure you're going to get many serious answers...it's 2.30 am in the UK!
If you don't want irrelevant American answers then I suggest you put (UK) in your UK specific questions..because they see our questions, as their Yahoo Answers page is by default set to 'All English questions'.
Goodnight.

there are people whining about Iraq constantly.
There is no pension crisis, funding ratios have been pretty strong lately, not to mention a move away from DB plans which is helping alleviate the "crisis", because companies are so indebted to pensions it is causing them insolvency risk
Just be an informed person next time...
