Do nice persons finish last or set themselves up for disillusionment?

When ever you use the word "Every" in a question the answer will always be No. So assuming you mean, Do some successful people.....

No i don't think they have to do mean or nasty things, however i do think that the majority have to conform at times to get ahead.

For example. Sales folks have to pretend to be nice to EVERYONE. We all deal with people, and we all wont get along, but we still have to pretend at times and put on a happy face. Some people rather not do that, which is fine, But you gotta do what you gotta do. Everyone has their limit, there is just a wide variance in that limit. Meaning that "Mean and Nasty" is subjective.
