might have to fall to learn....j/k....put the bed up to the wall and believe me if she falls, she'll learn quick, just don't push her...LMAO...but the other answer'er' is right, she might be to young to be in her own bed, if you are scared she'll fall out, put a rail up for your own security anyway...Bye 4 now

When my daughter was about 2 I put her to bed and put the rail up and left the room but she decided she wanted to get back up. Her doctor had told me that when I put her to bed I should leave the room and if she fusses to let her fuss unless I could tell it was a distress cry, so I did. After a few minutes my husband and I heard a loud crash - she had crawled up and over the railing! Luckily she was alright and anytime I have seen her attempting it since I remind her that last time she did that she fell. She immediately stops, tells me it hurt and sits right back down. Sometimes when we do something it is the only thing that will teach us.

How about being an adult and put something up there along the edge of the mattress so she doesn`t fall off. She could get hurt falling off of the bed. She sounds as is she is too little to be sleeping without anything to protect her.

Put lots of small tacks on the floor around the bed. One or two times into the tacks, no more falling out. Have never tried this, but bet it'll work!

When I took my 1 1/2 year old son out of his crib(he was climbing out!), I put his matresses right on the floor. He has a carpet but if you don't, put an area rug in her room. I didn't have to worry about him falling far!
Good luck!
