Shadows Over Camelot by Avalon Hill Games.

Role play as a knight of the round table to stave of evil with the help of fellow knights. Just be wary of the traitor.

This game sets itself apart from all other through its cooperative play system. Despite the non-competitive element, game play is still tense and exciting as players struggle against time and an unknown traitor in their midst.

Lots of groans, cheers and curses as the fortunes of the round table swung every which way at every turn of the game.

Highly recommended

I've always liked Monopoly, Risk, and Scrabble, but one of my all-time favorites has to be Acquire. Build and merge chains, buy stocks, and try to beat the other players out for the bonuses. I play it with my mom and sister every once in a while, and they've gotten quite good at it.

I loved that game! Not played that in years, will have to dig that out - thanks for reminding me.

I think Monopoly wins as the best over all game. However, I'll always have a soft spot for trivial pursuit - I was about 17 when my family finally decided I had to answer the adult questions :( I stopped winning everytime after that!!

My favorite board game of all time has a tie; and its chess, monopoly and scrabble, but the best of all of them is chess, coz' it improves your strategy and fun coz' it tests the players ablities to be good at finding ways to beat the opponent. Monopoly coz' it's fun to play with my friends. Lastly, scrabble coz' it widens the players' vocabulary.
