Since you are posting this question in the "Marriage & Divorce" section, I have to wonder if either you and he are married, one of you married and the other not, or what.
I personally could not in good conscience aid you in something along those lines. If we cant hold marriage as sacred, then we are truly a people barbaric and devoid of any wisdom whatsoever.
IF and ONLY IF, neither of you are married - just talk with the guy and get to know him. Hopefully if you are not married and find out he is, you have the good sense to back off. I'm not exactly judging you here because I really don't know what your situation is, nor anything about you.
So just call this the voice of reason in a vast sea of voices.

when times like this happens to me, i just simply act natural. i will not tell anyone about this secret and just hide it inside me. because telling it to someone would definitely just spread it all out and when that certain thing happen he will just ignore you more on so, so better to keep it secret and play safe. in this way you can have a simple glimpse at him with no malicious thoughts by others. After this, i will simply find a way for me to have the chance to talk to him like i would ask something or i will come near him when i think he has doing something interesting and we could exchange stories about his certain something. get it? ... lets say , when he's like playing a guitar ... knowing that guitar is also my passion i would come near him and talk to him about songs he knew how to play, same goes around with me. just do not act obvious. you'll never know, in these way of act, it might be your way to be closer to him and to ask him for the homecoming dance. just be tactic all the way to win his heart. who says guys only has the rights to do this certain stuffs?! good luck ... and if everything seems to go wrong ... just follow whatever your HEART desires!

number one dont act desperate dont try to hard to get his attention because it makes u look really desperate and u might creep him out... talk to him hang out with him.... r u guys friends? ask him if hes going to homecoming? maybe u can ask hey want to go homecoming with me? if u get turn down dont act sad just act natural like cool i was just wondering..... does he know u like him? just take the chance there nutting to lose.... i no it will hurt but it will be over soon cuz u might find the one for will pretty soon... just remember it just puppy love or not.... good luck.... ^_^

go to the mall, get new clothes, get your hair done, and put on a little bit of makeup, be cute and flirty, but be yourself at the same time, flash him a smile, walk up to him and ask him out!
