Not really, there are no easy programs that automatically turn your computer off. You have to turn it off yourself. However, you can turn off the monitor and go to bed. The printer will keep printing, until it finishes the job (or has a paper jam). The computer will remain on though.
You can put the computer into sleep mode or have it shutdown at a certain time, but not after the print job is complete, you set it for some arbitrary time.
This program will shutdown your computer at a specific time, which you can set, but if the printer is still running then it will cut off the print job: http://software.techrepublic.com.com/download.aspx?docid=230059
Here is another program that does the same thing: http://downloads.zdnet.com/download.aspx?&scname=Remote+Access+-+Networking+-+Windows&docid=271474
You can find some programs that can log you off, but you need to be computer savvy and know how to use script files: http://www.petri.co.il/quickly_shut_down_computers_on_network.htm
Microsoft has this option: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/IE/deploy/deploy5/appende.mspx
But, it has to be run through Internet Explorer 5.0+ I am not sure if it will do the job for you.
You can put the computer into sleep mode, but it will still be running, it just won't be accessing the hard drives, or doing anything else.
Start>Control Panel>Power then you can set the computer to turn off the video signal after a certain time or to put the computer into sleep mode after a certain time. However, if the printer is still printing then the computer will cut off the print job.

Depending on your computer's settings, it will put itself to sleep, hibernate, etc.
MOST modern printers will AUTOMATICALLY go to sleep within minutes of completing the last print job they have in the que.
NEITHER turns itself COMPLETELY off under those conditions.
Many people don't bother turning off the computer or the printer at all, since it will start faster if it is NOT turned off the next time it is used.
Myself, I like ANYTHING that is NOT being used quite often turned OFF, and I would NOT go to bed with the printer running. (ANY slight problem could stop the job until you intervene. Murphy's Law, what can go wrong, will go wrong, at the worst possible time!)
AND
ANY printout THAT big is going to need quite a lot of paper, and I don't know of ANY priinter that will hold more than 1 ream at a time except some expensive "commercial" units, (ALL of which have automatic shutdown on job completion!!)

Older technologies became more desirable ideal to leave on, yet it is this manner of "no longer eco-friendly" ingredient to do it really is probable more desirable ideal to educate it off. I measured the wattage from my little setup right here (optiplex GL280 SFF, Acer 17" liquid crystal reveal) and at the same time as it really is energetic (i'm utilizing it) this is pulling about one hundred watts when I supply up utilizing it and the reveal screen turns off it remains pulling about 50 watts. So what I do now must be turn it off at the same time as i'm performed for the day. That way i'm no longer burning 50 watts all evening. inspite of if I turn each thing off I nonetheless see some electrical energy utilization ~10 watts. So I actually have a potential strip that I turn off when I close each thing down. it ought to look choosy, yet when I upload up each of the little issues that I actually have plugged in (pc, television, VCR, DVD, DVR, and so on.) it promises up and electrical energy isn't getting to any extent further less costly.

Theoretically yes. In my experience though something goes wrong with the printer and the printing pauses until you come and set it right the next morning - when you'd hoped it would be all done and ready to go! Sods Law strikes again!

Personally. I wouldn't leave it printing. The Law ofSod is bound to prevail and the printer either jam or run out of materials - never fails to happen in my experience!

you can probably make it turn all the way off or at least hibernate (the same prinipal as turning it off...closes programs but turns the computer on faster)...just set it to hibernate or turn off after a given period of time (however long u think it'll take it 2 print)

I wouldn't even worry about it. PC's consume very little power. I've left some on for basically years at a time (minus downtime for upgrades).

To leave your PC doing what? "Printing?" I have heard of hi-tech innovations but this is something else. You may have something there that will revolutionize the industry!
Seriously, What are you trying to say?
