About 15,000,000° C. That would translate to 27,000,000° F, which is what the other answerer to this indicated.

The visible disk of the sun is called the Photosphere and has a temperature of around 5,800 degrees Celsius. The Sun's atmosphere, called the Corona, can only be seen from Earth during a total eclipse. Don't forget that the brief period of totality is the only time that you can look towards the Sun without special eye protection. The Corona has a temperature of around 5,000,000 degrees Celsius.
The temperature at the core of the Sun is around 13,600,000 degrees Celsius. It is the radiation of energy from the Sun that makes life on Earth possible.
