Hey brits- I want to take my brother to the UK for a week to see some football matches, I think I'd like to take him to matches in different leagues so I'm wondering the average ticket prices for
1) Non big 4 EPL
2) Coca Cola Championship
3) Lower English divisions

Secondly, do you typically scalp tickets at the gate or play it safe and buy ahead?

Thanks.

Hi yank,
Keep calling it football as that is what it is.

Cant give you price for premier but i expect they are all a rip off.
Championship at my club QPR tickets vary between £24 to £28 depending on category game.

Lower divisions around £24

You will be able to get tickets on the day for games outside of prem.

By the way it`s the middle of the night over here most Brits are tucked up in bed.

1. I'm guessing you're EPL means English premier league. Outside the top 4, average price is around $60.
2. Coca-cola c'ship prices will be about $45 roughly.
3. Lower divisions you're looking at $30 maybe.
Better to plan ahead my friend as you will definitely be scalped at the gate. Enjoy whatever games you go to.

You're American and (may be) living in London. You are a Manchester United fan by default. United have exciting play, devoted fans (all the plastic supporters now 'support' Chelski) and a family friendly environment - we have to sit down at the games and we're a Brand don't you know. Though if you insist on a London club, it should be West Ham. My father supports West Ham and he knows best. They are, in my (uniformed) opinion, one of few football clubs with a bit of dignity. Look at all the English players they've brought through and compare it with Arsenal.
