I'm a moderate. Why didn't you mention them? Moderates outnumber all the liberals and conservatives combined. And we are taking over, as the last election should have told you. We sent a message that we have middle of the road values, and just want to be governed by common sense. Not by the religeous like doctrines of the far left or right.

The latter, because Liberals live in a noddy world, where everyone is reasonable and a nice person. The Tories bake the cake, and the Liberals and Socialists share it out amongst those who don't deserve it.

I believe in the death penalty. Woman's right to choose after she is educated to her options and with restrictions on how late she can get it done. I believe we are taxed too much and the debt is too high. I believe our government is too big too involved in our everyday lives too involved in the affairs of other countries who can affect the very wealthy in our country. I think we should attack immediately when any group challenges our sovereignty or endangers our citizens. I think we should pull out of Iraq. I don't think we have the right to deny any country developing nukes as long as we have them. I think technology is on the verge of going too far. I believe we could develop an automobile that could run 100 years with routine maintenance on a fuel that cost less than $1 dollar per unit. I believe that anyone who claims to be liberal or conservative is a narrow minded hypocrite who is not capable of thinking for themselves.

I am a classic liberal, as opposed to a neo-socialist liberal. Classic liberals believe in personal freedom, constitutional limitations of government, the protection of civil liberties, and laissez-faire economic policy.
I believe Thomas Jefferson said it best:
"The legitimate powers of government extend only to such acts which are injurious to others."

On a scale of one to ten (one being ultra-liberal, ten being ultra-conservative) I'm about a six or seven.
I'm anti-abortion, but don't think it should be completely illegalized; it should only be restricted.
I'm for civil unions for same-sex couples.
I'm for taking care of the environment.
I'm for health care reform, but not in the form of universal health care. If we do that, then perhaps we'll be stuck paying 18% sales tax like they do in Germany.
I'm for stem cell research, but against embryonic stem cell research.
I'm not "for" or "against" the war in Iraq.
I am for the death penalty, though I don't particularly "like" it.
Just to give you an idea.

I'm neither. I'm a moderate that can see both ideologies are flawed. I'm pro-choice, pro-gay rights, anti-gun control, favor tax cuts, for death penalty, pro-environment, pro-business, favor smaller government, against flag burning, against the war in Iraq, and want welfare to be replaced by private charities. I can see both parties are fallible and won't do much.

I'm socialist. It just makes sense to me as I believe in equal rights for everyone. There is to much poverty and socialism seems to be the best answer to it.

Conservative. I think we have the right of self defense. The right to pursue our best interests. I believe that there are objective rights & wrongs.
