My skin gets so dry, especially during the winter months, so I use lots of lotion, but the lotion gets my keyboard so grungy that I am ashamed for anyone to see it. What is the best way to clean it? I've used wet Q-tips, old rags, but I'm afraid to allow it to get too wet. Scared it will mess it up for good. What should I do?

clean it with some baby wipes or spray some glass cleaner on a paper towel and use that to clean the keyboard

Clorox Clean ups will do the trick. They have no excessive moisture and they obliterate grease well.

If you mess it up, you have learned what not to do. If it is a laptop, contact the maker and get a new keyboard insert (I've replaced 2 of them in the past year, and they are EASY and CHEAP to replace - 10 minutes, $25). If it is a regular computer, you can get a new keyboard for $10. Your time IS worth something, you know.

The Mr. Clean "magic erasure " will get your keyboard clean with hardly any water. They work like magic and if it doesn't work dry then just a drop of water on the sponge will do the trick.

some regular keyboards (NOT LAPTOPS) you can remove the keys and wash them in hot soapy water and replace them when they're completely dry. If yours isn't like that, try baby wipes. Thy're not too wet, and clean really well.

After using your lotion, keep an alcohol wipe near by and swab your finger tips.

keyboards are cheap, get a new one and don't use lotion when using it.
