Matt Damon? Good points? Isn’t this coming from the guy that thinks that the “fighting class” of America’s citizens join the military because of “financial reasons”? No, I do not agree with Matt Damon on anything that has spewed so carelessly from his pretentious and tactless mouth. As a man with so much money in his pockets, he should have easy access to the internet, yes? Why doesn’t he do a little investigating of his own instead of lapping up the majorly left-wing (or conversely, right wing) biased mainstream media like a good moppet? Find out who Sarah Palin is, and why she has an 80 percent approval rating of the Alaskan populace. That just goes to show me that the people she governs over do like her and think that she’s doing a good job at it. Hmm…doesn’t quite reek of a “bad Disney movie” feel, does it? What a load. If nothing else, look at the people that she governs under as the evidence of her capability as an executive officer. Not the media, and certainly not Matt Damon. A very wide margin of Alaskan citizens like Sarah Palin—which wouldn’t make sense if she were otherwise incapable of performing her job competently, let alone well. Not to mention that, if she did anything that upset them or compromised their best interests, the approval rating wouldn't be nearly as high as it is. Do yourself a favor Matt, and go back to finish college.

It's sad anyone has to go to war at all.....against better knowledge I still hope a swift and fair solution can be found, so all countries involved can start getting their troops out of Irak.
So no, I don't think the Bush twins SHOULD go to war in Iraq......however, should they WANT to go, it would maybe open Bush's eyes for what the other parents who's sons and daughters are in Iraq are going through each day. Always having to worry if your child gets back alive, or if your child is the one who's going to be killed today.

Yes, he should feel at least for a second how bad is to watch the news and see that a number of soldiers were killed in Iraq and cry thinking about your relative who is there, and you don't know if he/she is death or alive (believe me, that feels so awful). Maybe he would make a reflexion and stop that stupid war.

Even though I am not a fan of the Bush twins, I would not want to see them go to Iraq just as I don't want to see anyone else go to Iraq. Why should they be punished for what mistakes their father has made? Rather than the Bush twins going to Iraq, I would like to see Bush and Cheney going over there, patrolling the streets of Baghdad at night.

I think a federal law should be enacted that requires all children of all congress persons and the president between the ages of 18 and 30 to be drafted whenever there is a war and they should be required to be in active combat. It is very easy to invade a nation and put someone else's children in harms way, when they are not your own children. It is different when your own children are in harms way and especially when they could come back in body bags.

I think that anyone who says they support the war should put there money where there mouth is. How many wars do you think there would be if the politicians had to go fight, or send there children. (I mean on the front lines as a grunt, Not in the rear with the gear)
not many

Absolutely!! As a Marines wife who's husband is in Iraq right now, I definitely agree! He needs to see what it feels like to have someone you love over there, worrying and praying constantly. You cannot fully understand what it is like until someone close to you is there. He has no idea what it is like to know in the back of your mind, that you may never see your loved one again.
